Future x Metro Boomin x Kendrick Lamar - LIKE THAT

Fresh off the press “Like That” from Metro & Future’s latest album prolly in contention for best song off the whole project. As expected, the production on the beat is 🤌🏾. Usin the sample from a classic Dr.Dre produced beat “Eazy-Duz It” that serves as the foundation for Future to remind us how much richer than us he is.

The track has an old-school LA vibe with Metro’s signature hard-hitting drums. The duo was able to get Kendrick out his hiatus & the track features his classic spectacular vernacular w him takin shots at Drake & Cole. Drake has been accused of pillow talking (a Class A real fella felony) .. We’ll be keeping an eye on how this story develops.

Johnny Yukon - Right Now!

Yukon has undergone a complete metamorphosis since we first heard his tracks in high-school. He's shifted gears into that retro pop, funk-infused, synth-heavy atmospheric vibe. N we all for it. It feels hella nostalgic even tho this typa sound was mainstream before we were even born (zoomers).

His new sound is reminiscent of the hippie era but with a modern twist—less cringe, more deodorant. Its gon have you wanting to sing along n bust a lil 1-2 step. Although the lyrics are essentially about what 90% of rap tracks are about — gettin to the proverbial bag & escaping the shackles of poverty, the sonic route Johnny takes us on paired with the delivery have it feelin like a breath of fresh air.

SiR - Six Whole Days

Ending off with a soul-stirring beautifully crafted track. “Six Whole days” is our personal favorite off SiR’s latest album “HEAVY”, which btw has NO misses. The multiple flow & tempo changes create such a dynamic atmosphere that keep you on your toes. The track is infused with so much soul it made me wanna start cleaning the crib.
