Love, Pain & The Turn Up.
QUEUE
What’s poppin,
Y’all ready know the drill. Lets get active ..
Track 1:
Odeal - Fine By Myself
Maestro of melodies Odeal, one of our favorite artists atm, is back with another timeless hit. This track’s got a latin vibe with a beautifully complex, guitar led melody.
The layered vocals add another dimension to an already stunning composition, transporting you simultaneously to an Italian beach front villa and to one of the worst arguments you’ve ever had with your significant other.
Fine by yourself. You & our playlist against the world.
Track 2:
tn_490 x Strandz - Jezebel
Usin a Sade sample producer tn_490 & Strandz deliver a hard hittin trap anthem. The timeless melody from Sade’s “Jezebel”, released in 1984 is the element that lays the foundation the rest of the song is built on. Might be the Zoomer in me but I wasn’t familiar with Sade’s game. Her work is 🤌🏾.
This re-interpretation definitely does it justice; seamlessly transforming a jazz-infused classic into a modern hood anthem. The drums feel like you’ve just been punched in the chest & the lyrics have you personally feelin like you’ve spent a few days in the bando on the lookout for the opps.
Must listen ⬇️
Track 3:
Asal - Liars & Players
Honestly lost for words on how to classify this one. Asal, is an artist who’s artistry is so versatile you can’t box her into any specific genera. She peculiar with it but her discography slaps. With a voice and aura reminiscent of 070 Shake, she’ll have you captivated from the first syllable.
Liars & Players is that real rave music. The rapid-fire jersey beat, paired with Asal’s distinct raspy vocals and relentless pulsating percussion have you feeling like you need to be in a European nightclub off multiple illicit substances.
Certified banger.
