The Zoomer Takeover
QUEUE
What’s poppin,
Zoomer appreciation week. Enjoy.
If you’ve been enjoying these, share with your homies & put em on 😁. Share link is at the end ⬇️
Track 1:
451 - Body Talk
We’re startin to sound like a broken record but damn.. What a time to be alive for 2000’s era RnB fans & the boomer adjacent (born in 1980’s & early 90’s) tryna relive their glory days. That irresistible bounce heavy, romantically lyrical music is BACK.
While some artists are simply recreating the sound, 451 is pushing the envelope & evolving it. His synth dominant production meticulously weaves itself into every other element of the track multiplying their effect. And ofc the vocals are on point. Simply put, the zoomers have arrived.

Track 2:
Isaiah Falls x Tamae & Icee Red - NATURAL
We’ve had this track on repeat all week. It’s something you’d fasho hear in a KAYTRANADA boiler room set. Pulsating with infectious energy and groovy af.
The vocals from Isaiah intertwine with Tamae's ethereal voice & put you in a trance. Hypnotic. Not much needs to be said, I guess you could say they’re…. “Naturals” 😏
Dad jokes aside, this a must listen.
Track 3:
Kanii x Riovaz & Nimstar - Tell me
Using a Michael Jackson sample from one of the most historic albums “Bad” (how tf did he get it cleared lol ??), Kanii transports 80’s dance disco to modern day; another W for the boomer adjacent.
The track makes you wanna bust out one of those solo dance routine’s from old sitcoms, you know the ones, the cabbage patch, the lawnmower etc etc… Hitting the “yuhhh” at the end of a four-count trap song has been fun, lord knows we’ve hit our fair share of the quans, but we need a change. Tracks like this might be the spark.
Make Moonwalking Great Again.
Stay Fly,
