QUEUE

What’s poppin,

Welcome back, happy Black History Month. Lets get to it..

Track 1:

Gwamz - PAMELA feat. Tay Iwar & Skeete

Let’s be real, if your resident DJ isn’t @PAPERBOY caliber, you not hearing this in the function. Thats a travesty and you should file a complaint. After the release of “One Dance” (a certified whine classic), AfroBeats has continued to take over the world & tracks like this, solidify the genre.

This track oozes sophistication. The tempo creates a seductive push & pull atmosphere that wraps around you like a well tailored suit or skims dress, its like an auditory shot of confidence urging you to own the dance floor. Honestly, there really might be juju on the beat.

A definite add to queue if you’re a whine connoisseur… the slow kind...

Track 2:

Brandon Nembhard - The Culture We Practice

Surprise, surprise, we’re back with another UK artist. This track from Brandon Nembhard taps into the Wesley Joseph inspired, moody and dark synth heavy sound, and since he’s from the UK, bros vernacular is spectacular (he spitting fr). The wordplay, flow & delivery paint vivid narrative that has you feelin like the main character. An immersive audio visual experience, with no visuals needed. He lives up to the last 4 letters of his name.

An add to queue.

Track 3:

BLK ODYSSY - ODEE

Honestly, we haven’t come across an artist with a sound quite like this. An intriguing fusion, a mixture of Kendrick Lamar, D’Angelo, Outkast and Funkadelic. An odd mix, but trust — it bangs. A multifaceted artist in every sense of the word, singer, rapper, producer AND director of his videos. The tracks marriage of jazz and hip-hop births a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that words can’t do justice to.
