The return of bounce-heavy, silky-vocal records will help bring an end to the “stand around & act cool” wave we’ve been seeing in clubs, and help take man & gyal from averaging 6 “Damn, they bad” to “You wont believe who I was dancin with last night”. The newest recruit on the frontlines in the war against the stiff-boards is Chikoruss. His vocal talent alone is insane, but what sets him apart is his sound selection & execution. The melodies, beats and delivery that accompany his tracks are 🤌🏾. In the war agains stiff-boards, Chikoruss is our Napoleon.

Johnny Yukon - Do You Feel It?

We’ve got a gem from Johnny Yukons latest album “MOVIES! WORLDWIDE: Part I”. A true musical experience that toes the line between multiple genres — dark-pop, electronic, and alternative, all in one. The track has a vintage feel and showcases Johnny’s versatility as a singer (bro sings falsetto). If you go thrifting, this is a must add to queue to get you in the zone before you step into the arena (your local Value Village).

Add him alongside Tame Impala & beat the “you only listen to Rap & RnB” allegations.

Track 3: 

Benji Blue Bills - IM RIGHT HERE

Sir. Blue Bills straight out Atlanta is back with another experimental trap hit that also doubles as a Playboi Carti diss track. The beat hits hard, forcing your head to instinctively bop wit it. A mix of that contemporary futuristic trap bounce with layered synths that create an intricate soundscape where every element syncs seamlessly. The sound selections remind of us of Yeat but, while Yeat’s music touches on the experiences of the use of a number of controlled substances, Sir.Bills’ lyrics primarily focus on inflicting harm to ones opps.
